Summary:The cost of developing individual training classes can be easily estimated using the above information and good estimating technique. The value of a training program to your company and it's employees is a bit more difficult to judge. Research has shown that employee training pays off in many different areas. You intuitively expect a good training program to increase quality, productivity and safety in your company and training certainly does that! A recent survey by National Public Radio identifies the opportunity to learn new skills as even more important than high pay in retaining employees. Studies have also shown that a good training program improves employee moral and helps with recruiting new employees in a difficult labor market.
